from beta2 to beta4 -> messed up admin-panel

I recently upgraded one of my pages.
Took the upgrade.php, no errors everything seemed to be fine until I logged into the admin-panel.
First thing was that it wanted the monochrometheme (despite of the fact, that I use 'default')
Ok, deleted the monochrome-directory.
At least the nasty php-errors disapeard.
But the panel is still messed up as you can see through the link below:
www.deneir.net/cmsms-problem.jpg

I've deleted the whole admin-dir und got the new one, but the problem still exists.

Anybody knows what the problem could be?

The picture doesn't work.

Anyway, if you can get to the user preferences panel, select default and you should be good.

The link should work now.

As you can see on the picture, I already use the default theme, but it gets messed up (no header-image, bookmarks looks weird etc)

Any suggestion how I can fix that?

Hm. Strange.

The only thing that comes to mind is going into the Site Admin > Global Settings, and clearing your cache. If your admin is so screwed up that you can't get there via the nav, use the link http://www.yoursite.whatever/admin/editprefs.php

Good Luck!

Interesting issue. I have that too, but only if I log on as one of my project users... Admin login is fine.

Are you sure you've really changed the theme for the users in question?

I'm not trying to be insulting here. It is confusing. We struggled with the language to make it make sense, but may not have been successful :(

You can change the "default" theme (i.e., the theme that gets selected for new users) in the Site Admin > Global Settings page.

However, for any given individual user, the theme can be set in Site Admin > User Preferences.

Seems to me the key point was about the language. I called editprefs.php and saw that no language was set (just default). I switched it to German and now it works...

Thank you :)
That solved my problem.

(switch it back to english is not a problem)

Very strange!  Hopefully that bug doesn't turn up in 0.9.2->0.10 upgrades...
