News Article Module - Forgetful?

Hi CMSMS Community.
I have been having some technical difficulties with the news module!
I am using CMSMS v1.0.4 Lanai. My news module is v2.2. Pretty URLs are enabled. Modifications: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... 953.0.html (title in page title - thanks again Elijah)
Problem: Breadcrumbs & Title not being properly displayed when viewing news articles.
Examples:
1) Visit: http://www.mike-miles.ca/ - Click "READ THE FULL ARTICLE" - Note the "Main News" text in both the Title & Breadcrumb sections. Instead of "Main News" I would expect the Category the article was posted in to be displayed.
2) Visit: http://www.mike-miles.ca/upcoming_events/ - Click "READ THE FULL ARTICLE" on any article - Note the "Upcoming Events" text now displays in both the Title & Breadcrumb sections.
In both cases the page title displays properly - Both the article title & category are correctly displayed thanks to the aforementioned mod. This leads me to believe that it is possible to correct the title & breadcrumb issues and display the hierarchy I have established correctly. I am not a programmer thus I cannot fathom how to correct this issue myself.
This is the last major hurdle for me to be able to deliver this work to my friend and move this site from mock up to production. I am at a loss how to implement a solution to correct this problem and getting desperate for a solution.
If anyone has encountered and/or solved this issue - or would be willing to help I would be extremely appreciative!
