Re: Want to speed up your site? Install XCache!

Hi there!
I've been trying some PHP Opcode cachers too, namely eAaccelerator and Xcache, but none of them seem to add such a significant improvement as yours.
I'm using XAMPP v1.6.6a, PHP 5.2.5, and CMSMS v1.2.3 on Windows XP + SP Pro2.
The average generation time is between 0.9 and 0.5s without caching.
If I install XCache v1.2.2 I don't get any difference ???.
After activating eAccelerator (which already comes included with XAMPP) page generating time get reduced down to 0.6-0.3s, which is almost half of the results without cache, but still much higher than yours.
I've googled for several days trying each and every example/tutorial/howto I've found about caching, but I've got no results at all.
Could you please tell me how to achieve a similar result to yours?
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards.
