Scrolling Marquee text

I am looking for a way to have a horizontal scrolling marquee across some portion of my site. I don't want to use javascript because I want the user to be able to use the editor to add/delete the text in the marquee.
I found an old topic that seemed like it might be helpful to me, but the links no longer worked. Here is the old post I found: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,437.0.html. I am using CMSMS version 1.0.2, I believe.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
