uploading a php module? (SOLVED)

This might be simple for you but is a dilemma for a novice like me. I want to use the google site map generator module but that is available as a php file. When I upload it using the cmsms panel, it says that it needs a valide xml file. Is there any other way to upload (and of course to also use) the module, than the ftp method? Can't we do this from the cmsms panel directly?

Oops, apologies. Apparently, all that I needed to was upload the file via ftp in the main directory. There does not seem to be any other way around.

Indeed, it is clearly described in the
project description:
Google Sitemaps generator generates Sitemaps for the Google Sitemap program. It consists of one php file that can be placed in the root directory. The URL of this file can be send to Google that google indices all files and changes faster.
