Hi everyone,

I want to reduce the length of the textboxes for the e-mail address and name field when people apply to suscribe for newsletters on my site, but have no idea where and how.

If you prefer looking to understand the problem, the site is http://www.junglesilence.com. It looks fine on a wide inch monitor, but since the sidebar and news module are all squeezed on a smaller width monitor, this is the only block that stands out.

Will appreciate your suggestions/ comments.

Similar to the textarea of a feedbackform, you can give a width to the field using CSS. Check the name of the field in the source when looking at it through IE f.e. to know the fieldname to style.

Is your other question solved, as you editted this post and are not the last poster in your other post concerning the textarea. If it is solved, please add [solved] to the topic otherwise others might think you still need help.

If you didn't manage to solve it, I'll look at it this evening, right now I'm busy.

No Ronny, I still don't get this. I checked the css sheet (and I dont know much about these, I am still fairly new) and it mentioned all font-sizes etc in %. I guess this setting should work for most browsers. Definitely the width for name and other fields are being picked up from somewhere. Don't know where to look exactly but will poke around.

BTW, thanks for taking time to try helping me. This is what makes cmsms more fun.

I'll check later today, I'mnow just checking the posts and then jump in the car to start working.
