Self Registration module: only confirmation email

Hello, I have one mone problem with Self Registration module 
Is it possible to do that after user has registred, CMS would send him a email with congratulations, his username and pass, etc.
'cose "Require the user to confirm registration via email:" property in Preferences means sending an email with verification link, isn't it? And I don't need two-steps registration.
