CMS Made Simple Forums

I have a client for whom I'm about to redo a website.

He sells items on his website and would like to have a "sold" field or label automagically get assigned to an item once it gets purchased via Paypal.

Is something like this possible with CMS Made Simple?

I did see that one, but I didn't see my specific situation in his solution...I wasn't quite sure how to word it in a search.
