Has anyone ever tried making a single-point login for multiple sites?

I'm working on starting a web hosting company that uses CMSMS as part of a basic website template/content/module management platform for my customers to use to access and modify their sites. I plan on setting up most of the templates myself for now. It would be great if all of my customers could come to my main company website to login and manage their prospective sites. Is this possible? I have throught about using provisioning software (like Plesk, Helm, or c-Panel) that would install a new instance of CMSMS... I could do it that way, but that would give the end user access to probaby more than they would need. I'm trying to make it as simple as possible for the end users "Real Estate Agents". Which do you guys think would be smarter and why?
I'm fairly new to CMSMS and template based webhosting, but I've recently used CMSMS to implement a site and I'm completely impressed with it's flexibility and simple ease of use. I'm hooked, what a great platform! Looking for some experienced guru advice.
Many thanks in advance!
