Problem installing modules

Hi

First time here. Just want to say I am really impressed with CMSMS - it blows everything else on opensourcecms out of the water! I've managed to get the install done OK and make basic changes but am having a little trouble beyond that. I am trying to get modules installed and when I click on the install link I get:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator,------@----.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
off Server at www.-------.org.uk Port 80

I've only just had the site created off a reseller and it appears to be a standard Apache / My SQL environment.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Regards

CMB

Hi,

I am having exactly the same problem. I have used CMSMS loads and been really impressed with it. Is there anything that is likely to be causing this?

Cheers

Matt

You don't describe exactly what's going on here, but I'll make a few guesses:

You're probably trying to use the module manager to install modules right?

Have you checked the httpd error log to see if you can actually get details?
Have you checked phpinfo() to see if your server has the xml functions installed?

And then of course there's the standard issues:
PHP memory
Disk Space
Permissions

The apache error log couldĀ  be very useful in helping with this stuff.
