I am looking into open-source world to see if the good people in here might know of a plug-in that I might use for our two sales offices. The offices are located in different cities, so one team should be able to keep an eye on the other to keep the inspiration going.

1: The salesteam need to be able to write in every sale they make, with the exact amount.

2: Each user have unik userID, so when one user write a sale of ie 500 $ that amount is added to the salesman grand total of that week, month and year. Also that amount is added to the respective office the salesID belongs to.

3:Each product has an unik product ID, so manager need to track who sold how many items of product x

4: Each sales shows up on a page and a ranking is generated that shows which salesman has sold the most, here we need to be able to change between day, week, month and year.

5:After each day the system must write a daily report to each salesperson that holds total of sales and how many of the different itmes was sold and at what price. This will automatically be send to each salespersons email, preferrable in pdf.

6: The managers need to be able to run reports the see what products sells the best, which salesperson generates maximum/minimum money.

7: Each salesperson as well as the managers need to be able to run statistics to see how many calls are needed for each sale. That way they can keep an eye on this and improve themself over time.

Does something like this excist? It is not a full scale CRM system, nor ERP or accounting system. I am sure other saleteam must have problems like this before. If there is a module or plug-in for this type of thing pls let me know.

I will consider both open-source modules and comercials as well. Please respond to my post as soon as possible as this should be done and completed asap.

I am not sure the cmsMS is the best framework for this project, so if someone has seen a solution for other frameworks I will consider this as well. I am not even set for the LAMP platform, I can use .Net as well on windows box also. The thing is I need some feedback I hope other people have seen modules like this for one or more frameworks.

If this excist for cmsMS pls let me know, that way I do not have to learn yet another framework

Yeah I have played around with both vTiger and sugarCrm as well. The thing is that both of them are full blown crm systems.
And for us that is just too much. Meening that the threshold for the salespersons will be too high. A fullblown system like that will just put too much strain on the salesteam. Think of the amount of training they need before it is a sure thing.

What I am looking for is something "idiot-proof", that even your mother and grandmother can use without too much training.
It also must be easy to use so we are sure the people will actually use the system. And frankly a full blown crm wil just be too much.

Our team have a high number of senior citizens, and I know their computer skills are not topnotch.

Today they actually work with paper and pen, but we must try to force a simple system upon them so we can ensure that they focus on their primary goal aka selling. Today I am sure each and every one of them are waisting a good hour maybe even two hours each day by writing by hand, and printing out paper lists to call from.
