how do I install into a pre-made DB?

I'm using version 1.0.4, and I don't have shell access - so I'm installing via FTP.  The install says to create a new DB, but could I have cmsmadesimple install into my current db "mydb"?  With my current username/pass?  Thanks :)

Yes of course ... you have only to create one if there's no one :).
