Hmm that is odd.. let me test that in the release that is coming out.. I have 1.7.8 ready to go and I've been just fine tuning it for a bit to get things like the html validation up.. but may-be I need to push out one more release before the HTML validation is fully in..

Give me a day and I'll either confirm this or clear it with a new release.

Cheers -Jeremy

Hello .. no I have tried to reproduce but I think I have fixed it without knowing it.. I'll be doing the release this weekend.  You should find no issues with the version.. I just needed to get it to a stopping point to release.. sorry for the delay, but atm I have the svn version running on 5 production sites now with out flaw so it should be good to go.  HTH Cheers -J

Hi Jeremy,

Thanks for pushing the update out. Ive upgraded to this version and I'm still having the same problem. Weird thing is that I've tested the new version on a virgin install and it saves changes just fine.
One more thing I noticed:
When I go into edit the css on the problem site I try the little link "Rendered CSS" and nothing happens.
When I go into edit the css on the virgin install I get the popup with an error

Code: Select all

Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'ScriptDeploy::rendered_css_dissection' was given in /our/server/path/modules/ScriptDeploy/action.ajax.php on line 36
Is there anything I can do or tell you that would help solve the problem?

Ive also noticed that I dont get a revision count in the single scripts list. Maybe thats something to do with it?

Just noticed that an update for this module is available.  Is there any documentation available that says what the changes are?  I'm always cautious about updating modules now when I have a site working  :)

I just tried to upgrade this module on a test site and got the following error:
Error!

Checksum error. This probably indicates a corrupt file, either when it was uploaded to the repository, or a problem in transit down to your machine. (expected %s and got %s)

Try installing by uploading the xml file, and ticking the "overwriting the current module". You should then get an "upgrade" button in the Modules list.

Just tried your suggestion, still has not worked.  I did the following:
1)  Went to the forge and downloaded "ScriptDeploy-0.8.xml"
2)  Logged into site, went to modules and uploaded file, and ticked the overwrite option
3)  Modules page then said script deploy needed upgrading
4)  Selected upgrade, it thought about things, and then reloaded the page saying "needs upgrading"
5)  Repeated step 3-4 several times

So atm I'm stuck on version 0.7.7, although everything is still working fine.

EDIT:  NVM

I fixed it, ftp'ed the server and renamed the old module as OLD, then uploaded the xml file and it all worked as it should.

Would still like to know what changes are in the new module :)

Hello, I've been out dealing with some important things in my life.  I'll be back on this later today.. but I think for these issues.. the problem is with the file in the forge. I'm going to reupload it and see if that sorts it.. as far as what has changed, the editor, the js file protection, the ajax saving.. um.. I know there is more and I promise I'll doc it.. but I was just keeping my word on getting it out while I've been dealing with life..

Cheers and thank you guys for trying out and getting back to me.. -Jeremy
