The line is: $config['default_upload_permission'] = '664';
Bob:
What do you think: change 664 to 755 or 777?

I finally had some time to install the new FCKEditorX module for 'CMS Made Simple'. The installation is going OK and it looks nice that everything is stored in the database now!
The thing that is in my humble opinion not really user friendly is that the way to create links is now at the end of first toolbar. The older solution (that the link buttons where at the beginning of the second row). Furthermore: "There are still some buttons that can be removed from the toolbar".
Maybe try to make the toolbar the same as in MS Word or make the toolbars of TinyMCE and FCKEditor the same...

Thanks once again Pat. You can make poetry out of my jumbled broken English. Did I mention it's the only language I know?

Please someone could explain better to me the problem?
The problem is on creation of folder from Filemanager of CMSMS or from Filemanager of FCKeditor PLUGIN????
Is a combination of that TWO system of uploading and folder creation?
Bye

Question: As I mostly don't visit the 'Options' tab when creating a page I have never noticed this before and I was wondering why this occurs.
As you can see in the attached screenshot there is an option 'additional editors' available on the 'options' tab. Is this correct? Because the list of options is empty. Has this something to do with the installation of FCKEditorX?

OK, thanx for that. Maybe it is better than to change the name in the language file to 'page editor' or 'content editor'...

No, when I create a HTML Blob and have FCKEditor selected I don't receive an error. Doesn't this has something to do with the fact that you need to CHMOD a directory or file?

Hi Patricia, thanks for the reply, i managed to solve the problem. My solution was - uninstall TinyMCE, delete cache, and only then install FCK. Seems to be working fine now

I have run into a strange problem: When I try to edit page content all I get is:
When looking at teh page source the page ends in "Non si riesce a scrivere nel file ()"
This only happens for content pages, and only with FCKeditorX as my WYSIWYG editor.
For html-blobs and all modules I get the editor as usual, so I can't say when it started, but I think I have updated both cmsms to 0.10.0 and FCKeditorX to 0.7.3 since the last time I editede page content using FCKeditorX.

Strange haven't write permission into "CMSMS_FOLDER/tmp/cache/"
Set permission for "CMSMS_FOLDER/tmp/cache/" to 777 or 755.
Try and say me.
Bye

Hi Bob,
how can I change the language in FCKeditor? In my second instalation I have the editor only in english.
Here my steps:
- Install cmsms to a new webspace
- Copy the files for FCKeditor to folder modules
- chmod is OK
- Install FCK in cmsms
- edit pages
and then:
The language (FCK) is english (cmsms used german)
Can you help me please?

mbvdk, "Non si riesce a scrivere nel file ()" is a line from the Italian translation which means "Unable to write to file".
Try clearing your cache and explicitly setting your default language to English.
