i have the same structure with news (just like you) but dont get pretty urls to work.
just for regular content but not for news. therefore i asked

News will not make pretty URLs w/o setting hierarchy true in config...

I'm working on an update to Ocean right now, which includes making it much to set up the featured content jQuery slider and apply cufon text. If anyone has any other requests, feel free to msg me and I'll consider them.

I had an issue with the news not displaying properly.

Found that it was due to leaving the installed templates in place, but not active.

My issue was fixed by changing my newly created news page's alias from 'news-2' to 'news'.

Love the theme by the way....
