Wow, you are talking about the backend management of products.

I think you have to manage your categories wisely.
The moment everything is managed in a smart hierarchy of categories the user has to choose only one for his product and the catalog will work accordingly. But other than... I don't know.

As I said before: One product in more than one category with most likely screw things up. Or you get a template master!

Is Cataloger really able to suit your needs?
I did a page with cataloger with about 350 products and it's still running fine but quite a job to not loose track of the products and where they are. A real advantage is that searchhits take you to the page where the content lives!

Correct me if I'm wrong but with cataloger you are not able to assign a product to more than one category? And the user has to resize the images himself.
But the worst part... it will most likely not developed any further... I think.

It has its advantages and disadvantages.

I have explained something wrong. I don't need to add one product to several categories. I need to add let's say three products to stay in the subcategorie and five other products to be in the main categorie.

And the problem is that I want to be free in choosing subsubsubsub categories.

With Cataloger this is all possible, the only problem is in making the product stand out against the subcategories. And you have to do a lot in order to create a categorie or product item.

But I think modulemaker has more potential in the future then cataloger...
