Thickbox 2 with Previous and Next Links

Here is a new ThickBox2 template to use with Album and some revised CSS (it works with this template and the normal Tickbox template.) It works the same as Thickbox but now has 'next' and 'previous' links on the actual image for gallery navigation.
(Please note that I've not included the javascript links in the template as it make more sense to load this at page or site level.)

Download template and revised CSS:
http://www.cms.shoesforindustry.net/cmsmodules/album/

See it in action
http://www.cms.shoesforindustry.net/cms ... lbum-5/80/

Enjoy

I'm having a problem with this module.

Have a look at this page : http://62.149.36.48/~k9dogs/cms/index.p ... st_dogs_in

and when you're on it, click to see the next page of pics... the cms module smarty tag appears! Why is that?

Since it displays as words it looks like you inserted it between {literal}{/literal} tags, or you put it in the edit page content box and it got formatted as code or something.

Go to edit page, click Source button, check for formatting ....

You may also want to add a title and comments for each picture? Otherwise it shows the image name and a '-'. You could also edit the template?
You seem to have lost the semi transparent background - this maybe by design? Are you using the latest Thickbox and jQuery javascript and got the CSS right? It doesn't seem like it to me in Firefox? Looks like the stuff for html, body?

Well... to start...

This is the source code for the page. I checked it yesterday and there are no 'literal' tags :

Code: Select all

<h3>Latest Dogs In</h3>
<br />Here you'll find pictures of latest dogs to join us at the kennels. and events from K9.<br /><br />Please have a look around and if you recognise one as yours, <a href="http://62.149.36.48/~k9dogs/cms/index.php/contact_us">contact us</a>. <br /><br /><br />{cms_module module='album' albums='4'}`
I also tried editing the template for that page and inserting the tag on the template, rather than in the content, but a funny thing happened... even though the tag wasn't in the content anymore and there was only one instance of the tag in the template (I checked both several times) the gallery displayed twice on the page!

You seem to have lost the semi transparent background - this maybe by design? Are you using the latest Thickbox and jQuery javascript and got the CSS right? It doesn't seem like it to me in Firefox? Looks like the stuff for html, body?

Sorry, you've lost me on that one...  I use firefox too. I'm using the 'seperate_thumbnails' template.

Glad you like the dogs!!!  ;D

Maybe it's a bug in Album.
Try doing this as a workaround:
1. Go to "Content » Photo Albums" in the CMSMS Admin Panel
2. Click on the "Options" tab.
3. Uncheck the box next to "Check this box to show the content of the page with the Album tag above all pictures:"

Hope this helps,

Elijah

Edit: Also make sure you are using the latest version of Album (0.6.0). I fixed a bug like this that was in an earlier version of Album.

hmmm... that option isn't there... it's Album 0.5.1. I only installed it about 4 weeks ago... it's a releatively new site and I thought all was up to date...?! How can I upgrade to the latest album without losing all the pics and categories then...?

EDIT : I worked it out! ;D Upgraded to 0.6.0 and it's working fine... must have been a bug. 0.6.0 must have come out just after I installed it!

Thanks.

PS: God! I love this CMS! ;D

Hello everyone, I need some help with the uploading in the "Album" version 0.5.1

, I have the following issue; When I go to Photo Album, I choose an album, Add Picture and then I can upload pictures ("Upload a picture" ) fine when I am logged in as admin but when I am logged in as an other user (with admin privileges) , then, after browsing to the image and uploading it, the page does return blank (only showing the menu on top) instead of returning to the image list, ad it does not upload the image.
I have set the permissions of the user so it has the same permissions as the "admin" user.
What am I doing wrong?? what am I missing?

Kind regards,

Tom

Have you put the new user in the admin group?

That was a bug in Album that was fixed in Album 0.6.0. I would upgrade to Album 0.7.0 and you should no longer have this problem.  ;)
Bug report was here: http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/tracker/in ... 7&atid=725

Ähmmm, I'm using Album 0.7.2. for the first time. When I upload an image, I get this error:
The requested URL /admin//admin/moduleinterface.php?mact=Album,m1_,addpicture,0&m1_albumid=1 was not found on this server.
Is this a bug? I mean, there is the "admin" twice and a doubleslash (!) ?

Yes, it was a bug in Album.  ;)

I've released Album 0.7.3 which should fix this problem.  :)

Changelog: http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/frs/showno ... ase_id=620
Download: http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/frs/?group ... ase_id=620

Enjoy,

There appears to be a bug with Album version 0.7.3 where it does not save the comments for an actual album (not photo), at least in the version I have. I can alter the an albums name and save it but not the comment for an album. Can anyone else confirm this as a bug?
