News Module - separate detail page
Re: News Module - separate detail page
I support the multiple template idea. The alternative could be to add a prefix parameter to the tag that is used to prefix all ids of the output from this tag. In this way it would be easy to make different CSS where needed.
Re: News Module - separate detail page
Just an afterthought - I assume it would be possible to use the existing single template and then a series of {if}{elseif}{elseif}...{/if}, testing (say) the category value to define different layouts? Still a bit messy though.

Re: News Module - separate detail page
How does the parent/child syntax work in the module call parameter?
Is it just {cms_module module="news" category="parent->child"} ?
Wishy, could oyu please post a complete list of parameters (some seem to have disappeared and others have been introduced?) and maybe the same for the templates?
e.g. {$entry->postdate|date_format}
At the moment I'm not even sure how to change the date format any more.
I know time is short and documentation is long but a few of these things would help a lot.
