Hi
In the list of the products, options is "hidden" behind the symbol with the 2 lists and the green arrow, the most left of the 4 symbols on the right.
Hope you find it.
Kind regards,
Jan

Found it - thanks Jan.
It was rather well hidden (granted, I was using an Android tablet -> no tooltips or hover) - I'd go so far as to say both discoverability and documentation are lacking.
It also gets a bit tiresome applying the same set of options to all but one of the products - and having to edit 4 SKUS each time I copy. What would be great is a small (optional) options management module which would allow you to save sets/templates complete with SKU suffixes - so if you apply the set to a product the suffixes are appended to the SKU for the product as each option is created.

Another thought/suggestion:
A column on the product manager items list which states how many options exist for a product would make it much easier to keep track of them.

What's missing and needed is a versatile shipping module, with options to have shipping based on:
1. total price
2. flat rate
3. destinations (with ability to create custom areas).
This would make a BIG difference !
Hope one day it becomes real
Thank you for your time !

Hi,
got it to work although options only work with promotions installed, without promotions the system broke just at the point the options should appear.
I will have to do some more experiments to see the advantage.
kind regards,
Jan

Hi,
Sorry, I am not working on a shippingmodule, the existing one is sufficient for my customers.
I plan to have a look at taxes because it should be possible to have a different VAT for different products and either it is not possible with frtaxes or I do not understand it.
What is exactly the problem with shipping? The weight-based calculations work.
Kind regards,
Jan

I see...my sudden hope just faded.
Destination-based shipping is desperately needed...since it's not working on CMSMS 1.11+

Hello folks!
I just filled in a new feature request and wanted to discuss about it here if anybody thinks it's good :
http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/feature_request/view/9558
A "search" input field in the admin area for Products.
So that I can jump to a specific product easily, knowing it's name or code or sku or custom field.
Cool...right ?
