by so what?
I downloaded the lang-files
- cmsmadesimple-1.8-langpack-de_DE.tar.gz
- cmsmadesimple-1.8-langpack-fr_FR.tar.gz
- cmsmadesimple-1.8-langpack-it_IT.tar.gz
and checked them with cmsmadesimple-1.8-checksums.dat.
The files cmsmadesimple-1.8-base-checksum.dat and cmsmadesimple-1.8-base.tar.gz were OK but the above language files never mached.
I downloaded them three times - cleared the browser cache before downloading them again - but they never matched.
The byte-count of all of the three language-files corresponds to the one's given on the download page and the files are not currupted according to 7zip.
Can someone confirm that they don't match or is it just me?
Thank's a lot for your help and a very big thank to the dev-team for all their work.

thank you RonnyK for the corrections!
Can we expect a global correction with a new version (1.8.1) once all four bug will be fixed ? or 1.8.0 will be a version that the user will necessarily correct to use it?
If a corrective update comes soon, I'd rather not encourage french people to download the 1.8 and wait a revised version

Yep,
a 1.8.1 is foreseen. But first a few days will be waited to see if more findings are reported. When these are confirmed/fixed they will be listed in the other topic. But as these aren't really critical, a direct release isn't needed

ravi de l'entendre. je comprends que les bugs ne soient pas "critiques". je tacherais d'annoncer cette version en détaillant les bugs et les corrections existantes sur les forums et les flux RSS.
Merci beaucoup pour votre réponse
glad to hear it. I understand that bugs are not "critical". I would stain to announce this release detailing the existing bugs and fixes on forums and RSS feeds.
thank you very much for your reply

Another small error:
Since the new 1.8 version of CMSMS url rewriting is handled in a different way.
The SitemapMadeSimple module started to output urls with parents in them.
I want my urls to look like this:
But instead it shows:
Since the last update to the SitemapMS module was last years, i think it has got something to do with the update to CMSMS 1.8
I'm not sure, but the Company Directory has been rewriting it's urls too.
What used to be:
Code: Select all
http://www.website.com/index.php?mact=CompanyDirectory,cntnt01,details,0&cntnt01sortby=phone&cntnt01sortorder=desc&cntnt01companyid=1&cntnt01returnid=22
Now became:
Code: Select all
http://www.website.com/companies/1/22/CompanyName

Ringportal,
hierarchy will be showing anytime now. Before there was an option to NOT include hierarchy in the URL, that is removed now.

this is since CD 1.6.1 !
and to use hierarchy off you should check the forum. there are some solutions for this!

Ronny,
Why?
And why was this not in the annoucement for 1.8?
I did read somewhere it would dissapear in 2.0, but why now?
Is there an alternative?

Maybe here is a solution:
http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... #msg216271
But i would wait until a reply of the devs before applying this.
