BTW, I tried both masks : 022 & 000 and nothing has changed in between...

[solved] modules folder (and/or the uploads folder) is not writable
Re: modules folder (and/or the uploads folder) is not writable
Hi cybearDJM, I fixed it
I tried several things.
CHMOD 777 Modules folder recursive
Cleared Cache
Fixed your TinyMCE toolbar
Uploaded without problems some files and deleted them again
I visited the website, only the homepage was visible, other pages ended in a error 404.
And then I noticed you renamed the index.php to index_cms.php!
The whole site use the index.php and this file isn't there!
I renamed the file back and the admin works fine again
Hope this solved all your problems
Regards, Rolf

Re: modules folder (and/or the uploads folder) is not writable
That's great Rolf !!!
Yes, I wanted to avoid access to this page from outside, that's why I renamed it... My fault.
Didn't know it was used allover the site, including admin...
Sincerely

Re: modules folder (and/or the uploads folder) is not writable
Yes, i'll try a new install on a second platform I manage with the same configuration, and if everything's fine, I'll close.
Thanks again.

Why is this marked as solved? I don't see a resolution here.
