- Canonical resolves the problem, which I think are to search engines to handle.
- Flash links are always a poor idea. And they're relative(my bad). Not my option, they were warned.
- Other search engines besides yahoo, google and live, dont do 0.1% on my sites. And the pagerank is preserved. And rank of the page in a search engine is more than just a good pagerank.
- Redirects cause more problems ie: google(if you got a wrong link and the internal link structure follows the wrong link structure) google will slow down the crawling. that's why root_url is important.
- I agree that Access to restricted URI denied is triggered, when the url of the request is hardcoded
Let's not be paranoid about SEO.
