Problems after updating from 1.1 to 1.4.1

Ok, tried to downgrade from 1.4.1 to 1.1 to see

Apart security concern, apart changed DB (and maybe incompatibility), apart if you downgrade a module you have less functionalities, we not support old versions

Well, just to check if there are any issues concerning older db content, if I could get the old version to work. But now I have version 1.4.1 up and running again and still the same old problem this topic is about.
