transferring test site to client site

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

What are you using on your site currently?  Anything that comes with CMS by default will be updated for 0.9+.  It's just the 3rd party stuff that you need to worry about.
