I haven't really tested it in IE, as I'm a Mac user. I'll see if I can try and recreate it, but it's definitely a strange thing.
@estring: Would you mind if I used your second paragraph for our quotes page on the new site? Thanks

Re: 0.11beta3 Released!
Wishy - Feel free to use my comment in the quotes section of the new site. Keep up the great work.
Hans - I did try clearing my browser cache and cookies as well as the CMSMS cache, but I'm still encountering the same problem with FCKeditor. Also, just to make sure there wasn't a strange bug with the specific path level of my IE browser I tested the same functionality through the FCKeditor website's demo editor at: http://www.fckeditor.net/demo/default.html and it worked good there. Thanks for the suggestion though.
I'll look through the code and see if I can find any reason for the IE6 problem.

Re: 0.11beta3 Released!
Good news...I just installed the latest Microsoft Secruity patches which included a patch for Internet Explorer and now the FCKeditor image browsing is working for IE. In case anyone else encounters the same problem, the problem goes away with this patch leve version of IE is 6.0.2800.1106.

Re: 0.11beta3 Released!
Or is it? FCKeditor runs really slowly on my fx (even the demo version on the fcke site) and it eats CPU like nothing else when hovering over the toolbar buttons. Aside from that it looks pretty neat and more polished than TinyMCE.lemkepf wrote: Good thing i use Firefox.![]()
Re: 0.11beta3 Released!
I'm using firefox 1.5beta and it seems to be working fine. I don't get any CPU "eats" on mouse over. The initial load is hard on the cpu, but it's hard on IE also.tamlyn wrote:Or is it? Re: 0.11beta3 Released!
1. Has the version of FCKeditorX been upgraded to the RC1 candidate in the latest beta release?
If not you should be warned that the older version in beta2 will cause a 'serious use of resources' e.g. it fails over, in Firefox (on Mac at least) when trying to cut and paste
It was documented on the FCKeditor site and then fixed. RC1 does not seem to suffer from this problem because it uses the fixed FCKeditor code.
I'm currently running CMS Version: 'Scarborough' 0.11.2 with the RC1 of FCKeditorX. This all seems to OK. It might also prove a solution for some pf the 'image' problems which I've just been testing...

2. Is the new menu system in the current beta. Is so where do I find it to test it?
