Hi Westis, I really like your site. So much that It serves as an inspiration to an internal site that I am working on for our company.

I was wondering how did you make your news module to be searchable?
I am using pisearch, but the problem is only pages that were created as content are searchable.
The ones that are created as news (via news module) doesn't come up on search result.

I would appreciate if you can enlighten me with this.

Thanks and keep up the good work.

Hi Maria,

Sorry for the delay in answering. As Patricia pointed out I've been in Kenya and am just back home again.

Thanks for the compliments about the site. We've just officially launched it now, finally, as we've filled it with content when I was in Kenya. It's now found at www.kisima.org

I'm also using pisearch on that site. It doesn't search the text in the news articles that requires clicking on a "more" link. But it does search the news atricles that are found on the "News" page, i.e. the text that is on that page.

For CMSMS 1.0 there will be an integrated search function, that will also search all modules. Until then, I think pisearch is the best option, as phpdig has some issues too.

Sorry if that wasn't of much help, let me know if you have further questions.

:D
