Simplest backup procedure

For questions and problems with the CMS core. This board is NOT for any 3rd party modules, addons, PHP scripts or anything NOT distributed with the CMS made simple package itself.

what would be REAAALLY cool (and rather useful), would be a little backup module with something that can be run from cron (or manually from admin panel for those without cron access) to backup the specified folders (/uploads/*, /uploads/* & /modules/*, or *everything* in the cmsms install, etc), and the database; then FTP (either regular FTP or FTP over TLS) that backup somewhere else and/or copy it to a specified folder (and not necessarily one within the domain's webroot, such as the user's homedir). and EVEN better would be if it could do either a 'full' or a differential (not incremental; they don't make for 'simple' restores) backup of the files..
