Template help - BG images not showing

Post by beejereeno »

I'm just playing around with this (sample site I'm working on)

I have a bg image for the main part of my table and another tiled bg graphic for the side bar menu. I've uploaded both into the images area under file management but can't seem to get them to show. What can I do? Do I have to use the full file path?

Any pointers would be much appreciated...Thanks! :lol:

Yeah, you have to use the full path. Unfortunatly, the file manager isn't that spiffy. It does exactly what you'd think. Puts them in the uploads directory.

should do the trick.

Wouldn't it be

Code: Select all

<img src="uploads/images/foo.gif" />

Yeah, good point. If it's done in the image manger tab, then yes, it's uploads/images. My mind just wanders somethimes...

Actually, since I did not put these particular files in the /images/ but rather the default folder, the first answer did the job for me! (because the client I am developing the site for does not need access to the site layout graphics. They can have the images folder for THEIR images) :lol:

Which brings me to ask...is the photo gallery plugin ready yet? :wink:
