New to the fold

Post by GraemeS »

thought would say hello to you all

I have been wondering around this stange old world of the CMSMS forums for a week or so now after building websites for several years and, like many having looked at other CMS solutions, losing a few hairs and blood vessels in the process and then shying away again from the lack of ease and/or the time to integrate to current site formats.

Now first i must thank and congradulate the team here, and that not just been the developers but the community as a whole.
Firstly the software itself if was a woman i would have married by now. It has answered all my prayers.  Already fully integrated two test sites in 2 days with all the features most the sites I create would ever need.

An secondly the community here. I have had problems though been farily savvy on the ol' "you bust it you fix it" routine, however i did have a failed module install that killed the admin template, though searched forum and bingo, job done with one fine solution.
Everyone seems so keen here to push what is a fantastic product and easy to use yet at same time has a memberbase that can and do help .

I now going to go through process of converting all my sites to using this as will save my few remaining brains cells from exploding.

Just if you have a billing module I will kiss you because then i will be able to change my own site as that is currently toying with phpcoin as that seems to kind of do that, though the templates system on that makes slitting my wrists more fun.

SO basically thank you all
you will see me around quite a bit i think, and as for community, skin conversion seems lovely and easy so think I will be converting lots and lots of templates for you all :)
