The new look of CMSMS website
Re: The new look of CMSMS website
I'm getting a red line *right* under the last row of text in each post - am I the only one who finds it kind of hard to read?
Re: The new look of CMSMS website
This Fixes the tabs for me, but my firefox is a default install so it will still look bad for anyone who has a minimum font-size specified, maybe its possible to specify the tab fonts in px so that you are sure everyone sees it correctly?savagekabbage wrote: Thanks to Reneh for locating the issue that was causing the home page tabs to be funky. Unfortunately, it's due to a Firefox bug when a minimum font size is specified. Due to the fact that Firefox allows you to set a minimum font-size only in PX, while the site is coded in EMs, it causes a conflict.
Mark: Please take these steps and let me know if the tabs are still funky.
1 - In Firefox, navigate to Tools -> Options
2 - Click on the 'Content' tab.
3 - Click on the 'Advanced' button under Fonts & Colors
4 - Next to Minimum Font Size, select 'None' from the drop down list.

Links in the post have been changed to blue. We removed the underlines from topic listings because we felt it made the screen too cluttered.
Which browser & operating system are you running? Also please upload a screenshot if you can =)hotaru wrote: I'm getting a red line *right* under the last row of text in each post - am I the only one who finds it kind of hard to read?

I will try to look into a fix for this, unfortunately it's hard to do without specifying a pixel based font size, which causes problems of it's own, in a fluid layout.Signex wrote: This Fixes the tabs for me, but my firefox is a default install so it will still look bad for anyone who has a minimum font-size specified, maybe its possible to specify the tab fonts in px so that you are sure everyone sees it correctly?
It's very strange how some Firefox installations come with the minimum font-size specified, and some don't.

That fixed it for me also, default install of Firefox, you may be able to do some conditional CSS for all but Ff...
XPsp2, Ff 2.0.0.11...
May want to look at the head in this SS...

Hello,
And what are your feelings about bold ? I use it for helpfull posts : "it is 444, not 644, you n00b !"

And what about links in signatures ? I see them all black.savagekabbage wrote: Links in the post have been changed to blue. We removed the underlines from topic listings because we felt it made the screen too cluttered.

Re: The new look of CMSMS website
Thanks, but this has been covered in the topic before. It's a problem with Firefox and a minimum font-size setting. We're working on a solution.stopsatgreen wrote: I'm getting the tabs problem; Firefox 2 on Ubuntu. See attached screengrab.
This is fixed now, thanks!Pierre M. wrote: And what about links in signatures ? I see them all black.
Hmm, bold seems to be working just fine for me. I just made a quick change to the CSS though, see if it's working now.Pierre M. wrote: And what are your feelings about bold ? I use it for helpfull posts : "it is 444, not 644, you n00b !"

What's wrong with the forge?
If you click on any of the links under modules, you get a "Page Not Found" message.
Also, the line in the forum posts is back.

There was a tag that needed to be removed, thanks for reporting it.Nullig wrote: The forge appears to be working again.
Which black line are you referring to?

Hi! This new layout really deserved the winning place in the competition!
Now I'm not sure whether it is good to submit it here, but I think it would make sense to add an "More modules" link to the "Modules" page which would lead to the forge, because I think it is now rather unintuitive for folks to search for the modules in the Development -> CMSMS Forge. The list of the modules mentioned on the modules page can even lead to a wrong assumption that those are the only modules out there. Just my opinion...
