[SOLVED]: showing last time a page was updated

Post by skrag »

Is there a way to put something in a page that will automatically show when it was last updated with a date stamp?  For example a user logs in, makes some changes, submits the page, and somewhere on the page (probably bottom or in footer or wherever), a little message shows that this page was last updated on mm-dd-yy?

Or is this just a manual thing that each user will need to do when they update a page or pages?

If there isn't such a thing that might make a nice little module.

Look in Extensions >> Tags, there is a modified_date tag

Please post system information from "Extensions >> System Information" (there is a bbcode option) on all posts asking for assistance.

Thanks so much.  I just didn't think to look there.  The modified_date tag is exactly what was called for.
