Calling All Infantry CODE RED

Post by soulja90 »

Hello Fellow CMS Soldiers,

I deleted my cms from ftp.

Not the mysql.

BUT

I was smart enough to back up both.

Now here is the scene . . .

I still have the database intact and as I never deleted it as mysql. I'm talking about my php admin.

When I uploaded all the files back through the ftp.

I'm getting the following error:

    *
    *

Navigation

And thats it.

Can you tell me how I can install everything back to normal.

I do have all the backups required.

My site is http://www.wdclub.com

Thanks

JB

Looks like your template is on the fritz.

Go to the admin area and check your currently used template. Check if there are any parts with curly brackets {}, i.e. {metadata}. I assume there are none. If that's the case, try changing the template to one of the standard templates supplied with cmsms.

Just an idea.

Hi Cerno,

Thanks for the reply.

the templates seem to be correct. They do include everything.

what I did notice though was an error when i logged into admin and tried to edit the pages.

I got a popup that said error loading fckeditor etc

I tried uninstalling it. The error was gone but the pages still gave the same results as earlier.

Just thought I'll give you as much info as possible.

i have no idea, however the basic checks that you might have already done:
- permissions
- paths (same as before ?)
- are you sure you have all you original files ?

good luck

Are you sure you have a ful backup?

Can't see a stylesheet inside .

Maybe it helps to run install wizard once again (without writing tables and default content in step 4).

Another option could be to activate debug mode in config.php. Set it to true ...

It totally worked after I re-installed, set the chmod details correct and when installing, I selected the install template option but uncheck the create database option.

Thank you all for your input. This forum rules!
