Assigning multiple documents to a Group of Users

Here's the situation:

Running CMS Made Simple 1.0.6 "Niihau"

I have approximately 500 documents. I have 10 Users. I need to assign 200 documents to all ten of these users. Is there a way to assign sets of documents to groups of people?

Example:

50 documents are currently assigned to JoeSchmoe.

I have 5 users in Group 1.
I have 5 users in Group 2.

All of Group 1 needs to be able to edit those 50 documents. Group 2 does not.

Any ideas on how to mass assign? Or, any way to mass assign user1 user2 user3 etc, to all 50 documents?
