Greek encoding messes with dates...

Hello again

I am dealing with the following problem:

When I try to submit a news item (through news module, v.2.1)  I cant see dates in greek for this item.
It shows some boxes, if i change the browser encoding to greek, it shows them Ok but everything else is screwed up.

Also, every news item posted, shows date again like boxes when i try to print it
(i am using this-> {$entry->formatpostdate|date_format:"%A, %B %e, %Y"}  for the template)

I have the latest version of CMSMS  ...

Any greek gurus here to help?
