Using Cutenews with CMSMS

Hello, I've been using CMSMS on my site for a few months now and it works great! However I've come across a problem where I can't include the Cutenews script into any of the pages.

I know from reading old posts; this is due to Cutenews and CMSMS using the same function name. I was wondering that with the advent of version 1, is there a way to get around this? Is there a way to add cutenews as a plug in or even just a workaround script?

Right now, I've set it up that cutenews is separated from the rest of the CMSMS part of the site. You can check it out here if you want: http://www.explodingdekunut.net

Why not use the NEWS function in CMSMS ?
