You may have to upgrade the Theme Manager.
I can send it to you in flat .txt form so you could copy/paste it into all new Template/CSS.

Hello Mark,

I really love your templates, but (call me stupid) how and where do I get them?  :)

Thanks.

Hi there, you can find the Panoramica download by clicking on the blue 'search' button here in the Forum

type 'Panoramica.xml'

it's attached to a message

Hi Mark,
I've been playing around with the Panoramica template and have stumbled onto two things I can't figure out:

1) The dividers and headings (a) in the sub menu seem to slide to the left in IE but works fine in Firefox. When I compare this with the "original", they seem to have this covered (see attached pics). Reading through the CSS from both sites I can't figure out where the meaningful difference is.

Do you have any idea?

2) I've also tried to add another colour for the 'a: active' in the sub menu, but can't get that to work. Shouldn't that just be:
#sub-menu a:active { color: #fff; } ?

Thanks,

Andor

I just found out one possible answer to my second question above - the current class from the menu template was the thing:

#sub-menu a.current {
color: #000000;
text-decoration: none;
}

However, why it works this way instead of using the a:active I don't know  ???

I am still very new to CMSMS and I was wondering if it is possible to port a strictly css site. The layout that I like is http://www.csszengarden.com/?cssfile=080/080.css  I am not wanting to copy this site but I love the simple layout of it and am wanting to have this kind of layout in my CMSMS website. Is this possible? If so how do I go about doing it? Thanks!

the first step would be to get just the css file which is here:

http://www.csszengarden.com/080/080.css

create a new stylesheet in cmsms and plop that in there.

then create a new template. attach the new stylesheet to the new template.

then recreate the html in the template.

A potential problem I see for you with this style is there is no clear navigation. presumably you would put it in one of the side boxes.

thank you for your reply. Yeah I tried putting the navigation in the top left box (quick summary box). When I did it messed the entire design up. Suppose I will have to figure out a way to constrain the size of the menu.

I took another look at the css on that page and it's messy, so I wrote some from scratch that gives the same look, and while I was at it I just made it into a theme. This is my first time exporting a theme, so if this doesn't work...um...I got nothing.

Thank you very much for taking the time to do this! It is a big help. I will play around with it and let you know how it works out.
