1.0.1 "Oahu" Released!

Post by Ted »

Sent to the mailing list a few moments ago...
1.0.1 is ready for mass consumption.

You can get the new release from here:

http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/frs/downlo ... 0.1.tar.gz
http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/frs/downlo ... -1.0.1.zip

The MD5 sums for these files are:

01a5110b56b8bf33c23f53307ba540da  cmsmadesimple-1.0.1.tar.gz
775b94dad0687ba4b42465950022dd86  cmsmadesimple-1.0.1.zip

This is a minor bugfix release.  Updating from 1.0 is optional.  It
was basically released to address problems people are having with
installation.

The ChangeLog follows below.

Bugs can be submitted to the bug tracker for the CMSMS core at:
http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/tracker/?a ... unc=browse

Thanks,
The CMS Made Simple team

Version 1.0.1 "Oahu" -- Sep 12 2006
-----------------

- Removed a few checks from the installer.
- Fixed a bug in the print tag during previewing an unsaved page.
- Fixed issue where bad content types will causes errors while
editing content.
- Fixed issues with login/logout not making proper admin log
reports
Thanks everyone for the early feedback.  While we didn't hit a ton of bugs with 1.0.1, it at least addresses some of the major concerns so far, and hopefully more people will be able to install without any difficultly.

I upgraded from .13.

My feedback forms have broken (they don't appear at all anymore).

Going to admin.php gives me a blank screen.  It first gave me a login screen, I entered my user name and password, hit submit, and it sent me to a blank screen.

So my business has "stopped" due to the feedback forms being broken/having disappeared.  And I can't access admin.

Any thoughts on what I can do? Thanks.

email_accountinfo

install.php does not validate email adress

the imagemanager does not work with firefox  (see posting to 1.0)

imagemanager
-------------------

1. in config.php this $config['image_uploads_url'] = 'http://localhost/101\uploads\images';  should be this : $config['image_uploads_url'] = 'http://localhost/101/uploads/images'; (that is something of install.php).

2. in all files of imagemanager delete all rawurlencode and rawurldecode

imagemanager works.

Thumbsucker : did you try using Admin with Firefox ? I often have pbs with IE, but FF seems to -oddly- perform better...

I would grab the latest version of feedback form (0.9.14) and copy the files over the older version.  There could be some kind of incompatibility there.

If that doesn't work, then go back to your (hopefully) 0.13 backup for the time being until we can figure it out in a dev environment.

Doing this for reason crashed the whole site and I just got a blank screen completely.

Had to roll back to .12 (my last back up) then upgrade up to .13 again.

Form was still broken and I realized the feedback module from 1.01 was still on my server and sabotaged the whole thing.

Now I'm deleting everything and starting all over from .12.

Ugh...haven't slept all and just to restore what I had..

Well there must have been DB changes since my consultation form no longer works at all and the form itself got nuked as well.

The Contact Form module works so I used that as a bandaid.

Unfortuntely, I'm now back on .13 and when I go to modules, none of the modules show up except the Feedback module. The Contact Form Module e.g. I can't seem to access at all.

UGH.

Hi,

Can confirm that the bug in the print tag during previewing an unsaved page is fixed.

Unfortunatly the issues with login/logout not making proper admin log reports is not. See attached screendump. For example "Eric    1    admin    User Login" should read "Admin    1      admin    User Login". Hope this helps to narrow it down.

Ooooh...  I'm an idiot sometimes.  Ok, I'll look into it properly this time.  I misread the problem.

Thanks!

why is the main site running 0.13?  Isn't it common to eat your own dog food?

That is most likely because of wait-timeout being to short on the server. I have the same issue with the Calendar module with too many events on a hosted server with wait-timeout set to 40 seconds (default is 8 hours).

It does take quite long to load the module info from the module repository. Can there be a way around that? On a slow connection people may also wonder what is happening when the click ModuleManager, since there is no load message.

1. MM shows no startmessage
2. MM needs some minutes  (works it or not - a startmessage was better)
3. No Errormessage was shown
4. No results are shown (see picture from other posting).

Because  the Betas  works (and actually the beta didn't work) it must be a problem with the cmsms server.

MM without a good server in the background is a solution that nobody needs.

i never had problems to download a module as a zip or so and install it. I mean nobody  need this  MM.

Re: 1.0.1 "Oahu" Released! (sectionheader shows template: why?)

Post by larskong »

Hi CMSMS,

In the administration module, a sectionheader shows a template assigned.

Why? and What is the use of a template on a sectionheader? (see also snapshot attached).

Kind regards / Lars
