Help with Navigator

Post by soarcsaf »

Help with Navigator.

I have an old 1.51 Menu Manager based site and I am working to recreate it in 2.2.19 Navigator. I don't believe it is anything special, however I am getting frustrated trying to use Navigator to replicate the Menu Manager configuration. The original site has a horizontal menu for the first six pages then a three level vertical menu for the rest. Instead of just using Menu Manager, I believe I should get it done with Navigator as it appears Menu Manager will be deprecated.

I can't find much in the way of documentation/examples to help me figure this out on my own.

Please PM me for more details. And price to help.

Did you get some offers already? Many users should be able to help you with this as Navigator is the to-go module for a long time now.

I converted some sites removing menu-manger and implementated Navigator.
The main work is adding css id and classes to the Navigator templates using the same as used in the menu-manager template.

No, I have not received any offers yet.

I am sure I am not understanding something that's pretty fundamental. When I made the original site https://www.soarcsa.org there was an example which worked well and I just made some minor modifications to the stylesheet.

For the new site https://www.alphaalpha.usI have now been able to create the horizontal menu with a simple navigator option and a new stylesheet.

However I am still struggling to make the vertical menu operate like the original.

Hello musicscore,

I did read your private message. Your response is good.

However, I am still not enabled to create or respond to private messages.

Is there any other way I can contact you to provide credentials to the site besides posting to this public support board?
