install problem Topic is solved

I'm trying to install cms 2.28 on a shared hosting. When I start the process, it works fine untill Step 4 - Basic Configuration Information. I get the message no such file or directory. I find this strange, as it's the directory that is in the pulldown menu in step 1. What's wrong and is there a solution.
