FormBuilder 0.8.1.4 Show Field IDs

The Configuration option to show field ids is not present although it's still mentioned in the Help. My workaround is to export the form to XML and discover the filed id there.

Hi,
I have the same problem still in FormBuilder 1.2. The weird thing is: I have two installations of CMSms. Both v 2.2.16. And both have FB 1.2 installed. Same php version (8.1), same server.
One installation shows the field IDs, the second one does not.

I noticed that the help for FormBuilder says I can turn on Field Ids under the configuration tab. But this has been removed to a settings file in the module folder.
So I have been tinkering with

fb_cnf.inc in modules > FormBuilder > includes

but without success. Actually I could not change any of the settings there by switching it from TRUE to FALSE or the other way round.

Could someone help and check this – thanks!

Anyhow: Thanks for making and maintaining FormBuilder – it‘s great!

Not a solution, but a temporary workaround is to hover over (or click and edit) the field and you'll see a field_id= parameter near the end of the url.
