Hello,
I am adding new content via Add New Content to the menu and it appears there but after submitting it confirms that the content was successfully updated. But the new content doesnt appear on the web!
Has anyone any idea what the cause of the problem might be? I am not webmaster. I am just enduser.
I am using CMS Made Simple™ 1.9.4.3

First: your version is way too old and should be updated. Please ask your website builder to do this for you a.s.a.p.

Regarding the new content not appearing in the front-end my first guess is that the website menu is 'programmed' statically. That would be a shame but I've seen it before.
As an editor it would be hard to find out. So if possible ask your website builder about it.
