The requirements for the project are:
Uses front-end users to assign logins for employees to log in to a page on the site to enter data.
Imports from a CSV or Excel spreadsheet to create and update a database of children's names, with information attached to them. Students searchable.
Each student will have groups of hierarchical information stored. Example: Student A has 10 Levels. Level 1 has 8 skills they need to accomplish to move to the next level. So the front end user logs in, selects the student and checks off what skills they have mastered. When all skills are checked off, they are assigned to the next level.
When viewing the students list, we see their current level and which skills they have accomplished. The system logs when the student's information was last updated, and somehow flags when the last update has exceeded a specific number of days.
Also interested in having the ability to select a student and have the parent's email also in the database (it would be included in the import CSV) so we can email with a form template the student's current level and skills.
