Using Form Browser

Post by trevorm »

Hi,
I have created a form in Formbuilder which has one field set as an index field the field name is "Surname" (assume this is called "index_1"). I am trying to create a results page using the Formbrowser Smarty tag.
I have noted the requirements in the help file with Formbrowser when wanting to sort a specific record from all the stored records but I must have something wrong in the syntax or be misunderstanding the instructions.

I want to use a specific field to sort the records to return one record. The field Name is "Surname", please could you give me the exact syntax?

I should have mentioned the current Smarty Tag reads as follows:

{FormBrowser browser='Client Detail View' filter_field="index_1" filter_value="Client Surname"};

Sorry for omission.

I'm surprised it even works, it hasn't been updated in 23 months or so...

If it seems to work try {get_template_vars} to see if Surname is even a field...
