Form Builder - Tidying up field lables and field boxes

Post by trevorm »

Hi,
I am new to CMSMS and may now be posing a very basic question for which I apologise now. :-[

How and where do you tidy up the web site page layout of form field labels and input boxes?

Can anyone help please.

Regards

You will most likely need to explain in a bit more detail as to what you mean...

Sorry Dr.CSS, I'll try again.

When I view my site after with a new page containing a form created in Form Builder, each line of the field names and their associated data input fields are appearing to the left of the page. (justified left). Also there are no spaces between the field name and its data field.

I would like the field names and the associated fields to appear in neat columns justified centre page.

I have connected the default Formbuilder style sheet to the page but is there some modification required to the code to "switch on" specific requirements?

Certainly using CSS is the way to go. There are however some helper templates in FormBuilder.

Click on your form and go to 'Form Template'. The 'Load template' dropdown gives you some ready-made choices for layout. You can also build your own template from scratch.

OK thank you very much.

With your pointers and bit more poking about plus trying out some stuff, I now have got it.
Thanks a lot again,
