TinyMCE WYSIWYG install 2.9.12

Hi,

I am completely new to CMSMS and this is my first time on the forum so I hope I don't break the rules.

I am using the latest incarnation of CMSMS ver. 1.11.10.

I have successfully downloaded TinyMCE WYSIWYG ver 2.9.12 and it has been installed as confirmed in the "Modules" list as found from this option on the main control panel menu (home page).

The original installation of CMSMS ver. 1.11.10 was installed with Micro Tiny 1.2.6. However, I have purchased one of the recommended books to learn CMSMS (CMS Made Simple 1.6) and am working through this the various examples, hence my situation now. The book recommends using TinyMCE WYSIWYG as the author believes this is the best WYSIWYG for CMSMS.

As stated above I have installed TinyMCE WYSIWYG. I have then uninstalled Micro Tiny 1.2.6.

In "Site Admin" > "Global Settings", I have set the default backend WYSIWYG to "TinyMCE". (The book says to go to "User Preferences" to do this, which I cannot find anywhere.

My problem is; when I go to "Content" > "Pages", the WYSIWYG is not there and there is no check box to enable/disable WYSIWYG.

For your information, when I go to "Extensions" > "TinyMCE" >"Test Area" the TinyMCE WYSIWYG is there and I can make effective changes in "Settings" area. It seems to work fine in the test area.

I have tried to explain my issue as precisely as I can but if you need more information I'll be happy to try and find it.

Try My Preferences -> My Account. There should be a User Preferences tab.
