News module version issue [solved]

hi, i am having an issue with my news module and would like to re-install it. the version stated in the 'modules' section of the admin panel says i currently have 2.14.2 but when i go to the web site, 2.14.1 is listed as the current version...anyone know whats going on with this...where can i get 2.14.2?

It's the version that comes with cmsms 1.11.10.

So I THINK you can install 2.14.1 and then just copy the /module/News files of the cmsms download 1.11.10 (diff) over it.

Note it has at least one bug:

hi, thanks for the tip. i did not realize that news was a built in module, i thought it was an add-on. i will look at a new 1.10 install and get the files that way.
