GCBs become "unavailable"

Hello,

I'm using 1.11.4 "Fernandina" with CGExtensions, CMSMailer, FileManager, FormBuilder, MenuManager, MicroTiny, ModuleManager and SiteMapMadeSimple as the only installed modules.

Every 10 days or so, my Global Content Blocks become "unavailable". They simply do not show on the site. The rest of the content is unaffected. All GCBs are called from the template using the standard code.

A look at the HTML of the page shows a HTML comment:
<!-- (GBC name) HTML blob does not exist -->

When I login to admin, the GCBs are still listed and their content is still in tact. It's only when I click to edit one and then re-save it (even without making any changes) that they ALL start appearing on the site again. I.e., just editing one makes them all come back.

Any suggestions?

Clear cache would solve this for now

Can you please post your System Information here? You can find them in the Admin
What names are your GCB's? Do they have any characters in it other then letters and numbers?

Do you use third party Plugins (tags) at your site?

Thanks, I have cleared cache (I assume Site Admin > System Maintenance > Cache and Content > Clear > OK). Let's see if it does it again!

The names of my GCBs are:
* aplayer
* footer
* mapScript
* mapScript-Andalucia
* mapScript-Balkans
* mapScript-Scotland
* mapScript-Tuscany
* menu
* TravelsComingSoon
* vplayer

The only "wierd" character might be the hyphen??? Would that affect it? I'm sure I've used GCBs on client sites with hyphens in without any problems?

Please remove the dash (-) in these names

I came here searching for the exact same thing....1.11.2. I have a global content block called 'standardLeft'. Every couple days it disappears. Clearing cache fixes it.

I tried Global Settings->Advanced Setup
Remove Cache older than 2 days...and it still happened. I've switched it to 1 day to see if it reoccurs. I'll watch it over a couple days and report back.
