pretty urls and module "News"

Post by gionda »

Hello,
since I enabled the "Pretty urls" in the "News" when I select "more link" I do not see the details page and appears to me
"The requested URL was not found on this server."
Thanks

link to site would help.

Double check that you do NOT have a physical directory called 'news' in the cmsms root.

The default install has a News link with detailpage assigned to it called news, if you remove the 'news' page you get that error, check that you aren't calling a page that doesn't exist or is set as inactive...

It doesn't matter where the page is as long as you use the correct page alias for detailpage=...

It may help to use a page extension like .html...
