FormBuilder: Adding a CC field to an email

Post by juzz101 »

When a form is filled out, is it possible that for it to be emailed to a user-inputted address, with a user-supplied address also CC'd on the same email?

I think it's possible to add another field: '*Email to User-Supplied Email Address' and configure that to 'Mail Addressing:' = '"CC" recipients'.

Note that this (of course) has a risk: unsollicited mails from your domain.

When you make the 'Send To' field you can add as many emails as needed, but not what you want you will need to explain in more detail what you need...

To be more specific, I'd like a user to be able to fill out a form with two fields for email address input (with a third static email address: the "From or Reply-To" field). When the form is submitted, I'd like it to be sent to the first email address supplied, with the second email address CC (carbon copied) on the same email. But not to send separate emails, just send one email. This would then mean that the recipient could do a "Reply-All" that would include the CC email.

The site is on an internal Intranet (private IP) so spam isn't a concern at all.

Maybe have a look at '*Email results based on frontend fields'.

There you can select (multiple) target addresses based on front end fields.

If that doesn't work out, I'm out of options.
