A site using CMSMS version 1.5.4 gives a warning message and wont allow me to edit a web page's content.
I go to Content >> Pages then I try to click o a page to edit and get this error message:
Warning: get_class() expects parameter 1 to be object, string given in /home/bsauto/public_html/admin/editcontent.php on line 326
Can anyone advise how to resolve?
Thanks
Anthony

Re: Error message when trying to edit content
version 1.5.4 is way too old and is no longer supported. Upgrading asap to the latest version 1.11.5 as described on http://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/upgrading ... ld-version will solve this problem.
Re: Error message when trying to edit content
Is there not an easy fix?
Its not a site that I can spend much time on.

Re: Error message when trying to edit content
if it's a small website: install version 1.11.5 in a new map en copy the pages manually from the old tot the new website. Otherwise do it as described.

Are you using AdvancedContent or any other content modules? Try checking your Global Settings to see whether the content type you're trying to select is permitted.
